I offer book coaching and editing for authors at all stages of their writing process.
If you’re looking for ghostwriting, proposal writing, or guidance on the processing of publishing, I partner with Tim Rayborn on those services. We can create custom packages of any combination of offerings.
For clients who want to write a book but aren’t sure where to start, have started a book but are stuck in the middle, or who have pieces of a book but aren’t sure how to put them together.
I specialize in working with authors of self-help, mind/body/spirit, how-to, the performing arts, history, and other related nonfiction topics.
I also love coaching writers of fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, and speculative fiction.
With one-on-one coaching, we’ll work together over a period of several months through 1-hour sessions held over Zoom. Together we’ll create an actionable and measurable plan that may include writing prompts, creativity exercises, outlining and organization, chapter writing and revision, and editorial feedback. We’ll also work together to keep you on task, develop a regular writing habit, navigate overwhelm, and feel great about your work.
Behind every great writer is a great editor.
I provide editorial services for both fiction and non-fiction writers who have finished a manuscript and are looking for a professional eye to refine and polish their manuscript for publication.
Work may include organization and outlining, reading for voice and style, reconciling logic, and ensuring consistent flow and pacing. I also work to clarify and streamline your language, trim redundancies and unrelated tangents (that could go in your next book), and eliminate inconsistencies and/or plot holes.
Basically, I make sure your book is well-organized, makes sense, tells a compelling story, and your message is clear.
Custom packages available for ghostwriting, editing, coaching, queries, and proposal writing.
