Hi! I’m Abigail, Book Coach and Editor

My mission is to help authors of both nonfiction and fiction write their best book and prepare it for publication.

I love working with authors who understand the power of story and sharing our knowledge to build a more just, equitable, and accessible society. I believe that representation in publishing doesn’t just matter—it can help tilt the scales towards justice and peace.

But we can’t change the world if we never put our ideas on the page.

When we work together, I’ll help you work through creative blocks, organize your ideas, set aside time to write, and keep yourself accountable so you finish that draft and prepare it for publication.

I bring my over 20 years of experience in education, writing, editing, and intelligence analysis to helping authors write the book of their dreams.

My nonfiction specialties include management and leadership, self-development, mental and physical well being, and other mind/body/spirit topics

In fiction, I work with authors of fantasy, historical fiction, sci-fi, and speculative fiction

My debut novel, Daughter of Sekhmet—a historical fantasy set in ancient Egypt—is now available through all major booksellers from Armin Lear Press/Thousand Acre Books.

If you’re feeling stuck, need help wrangling your thoughts, aren’t sure where to start, or just need that final push to get your book out into the world, let’s chat!

Testimonials

I’m extremely appreciative of my content editor Abby and her monumental work in wrangling early versions of this book into something more coherent. Her efforts went well beyond the call of duty.

Chuck Duff, Author of Ending Pain, Amazon bestselling book

I signed up to work with Abigail because I know and trust her work as a dancer, dance educator, and writer. I knew that the nonverbal, somatic experiences I was trying to explain verbally needed her perspective! She supported my neurodivergent creative process with non-judgment, encouragement, adaptability, and accountability! This is exactly what I needed to be able to get through the emotional blocks of trying to express myself, my perspective, and my work. If you know you want to share something with the world but don’t know where to start, contact Abigail! The world needs your voice, and she can help you be heard.

Lauren Peterson, author of the forthcoming book Heal Your Body Image.

“Working with Abigail has been transformative. With her help, I took an idea for a book, outlined it, and she encouraged me throughout the writing process. I depend on her expertise in the publishing world, constructive feedback and most importantly her belief in me and the project.”

Kim Pratt, author of forthcoming book, A Handbook for Your Bipolar Diagnosis.

“Abigail has edited several of my books across different genres, including all of my fiction, as well as my latest release, Northern Mythology, for Cider Mill/Harper Collins Focus. Her attention to editing detail is remarkable, while her helpful comments and suggestions have improved the quality of my books and made me a better writer. I highly recommend her for any project a client might need.”

Tim Rayborn, Author of Northern Mythology (Harper Collins Focus), Qwyrk Tales, and The Forbidden Summoning (Book 1 of The Dark Renewal quadrology).
